Fibre Heroes Go Live with Cabinet

in Cinderford Thanks to Fastershire Scheme

Full Fibre’s Fibre Heroes take their next step in providing Cinderford with high quality, ultrafast internet.

Wholesale network provider, Full Fibre’s Fibre Heroes set their cabinet live in Cinderford taking the next steps to make their services available to residents and businesses of the underserved town with access to internet speeds up to 1,000Mbps.

The network build in Cinderford is in partnership with the Gloucestershire County Council’s Fastershire Broadband Project and the FEP (Forest Economic Partnership).

Fibre Heroes work alongside ISP’s (Internet Service Providers) to provide a wide choice of internet deals from local and national providers.

The boost in internet speeds makes working from home easy and allows streaming HD movies without the dreaded buffering. Internet users will now be able to use multiple devices all at the same time.

Full Fibre’s internet speeds are unmatched by the current copper networks that serve the majority of Cinderford.

Community Ambassador Jack Jennings said:

“The growth in demand for higher speeds and better quality is relentless. For hundreds of residents in Cinderford town centre who are stuck with outdated ADSL broadband, our network cannot come soon enough.

The full fibre network provided by Fibre Heroes will put Cinderford at the very forefront of a truly revolutionary advancement in internet connectivity.”

Cllr Philip Robinson, cabinet member for economy, education and skills at Gloucestershire County Council who is responsible for the Fastershire project in partnership with Herefordshire Council, commented:

“This exciting project has come as a result of a unique partnership between the local community, Fastershire and the Forest Economic Partnership, married with the passion of a rapidly growing telecoms company who will provide Cinderford with the connectivity it needs for generations to come.”

Full Fibre going live in Cinderford marks a new and exciting era of ultra-fast internet connectivity for the Gloucestershire town.
